Kayla Whaley, MSN, APRN, AGCNS-BC
Kayla Whaley is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, with over seven years of healthcare experience ranging from oncology and pain management to a hospital setting and working with Veterans. She completed her undergraduate degree at Grambling State University in Louisiana and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Arlington. Kayla currently serves as a captain in the Army attached to a Combat Support Hospital where she practices emergency medicine.
Kayla previously worked in the field of oncology in Temple for the VA, taking care of Veterans and providing pain management treatments to those in need. A Puerto Rico native, she has worked in the Texas market for many years, including a large hospital in San Antonio.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, exercising, a good laugh, and spending time with family.
